Maker Monday Night
Make your Mondays fun again with our “Maker” Monday night! Join the Meissner staff at an open sew night for quilters. This will be a fun and collaborative evening with fellow makers, from the beginning novice to experienced quilters. You can learn a new technique, share projects, and get inspired! Bring your machine, project, ideas and a snack to share. Make new friends while making quilts, because a Maker’s gotta make!

Angelina McKenna is known as a "rebel quilter." As a child, she learned to sew on her grandmother's Kenmore machine, and she made her first quilt at age 19. Angelina is a member of the Sacramento Modern Quilt Guild and was featured as Week #17 at 52quilters.com. She has also had a quilt shown in the November issue of Make Modern magazine. You can often find her doodling on paper or practicing free motion quilting on one of the Meissner long-arm quilting machines. Her motto is "Your quilt, your rules," and she encourages other sewists and quilters to embrace their creativity, find their own style and follow their own set of rules.
