In this two-day, hands-on, team-sewing event, you will enjoy learning both sewing and embroidery techniques. Kym will show you how to combine machine applique, decorative stitching, quilting, and machine embroidery for amazing results. Kym will be accompanied by Janome educator Katy Mitchell.
In addition, you will be treated to an inspiring trunk show and demonstration of amazing rulers. Kym is excited to share her secrets to sewing with us. You are sure to learn so much throughout this two-day hands-on team sewing event.

| Instructor Bio: | Kym lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia and is an international speaker, teacher, author, co - inventor of sewing related products and together with Ann Duncan, they own The Sewing Revolution Pty Ltd. Kym has a very interesting past which has taught her many life lessons that she shares through out her events. She won The Beam Magazine, Women to Watch 2022 award in Australia. Kym and Ann have presented and taught extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and the United States of America. They have been invited to present and teach for most of the major Sewing Machines manufacturers. Kym spends some of the year in the USA speaking and teaching 2 day events for the Sewing Machine Company, Janome America. Along with Ann, Kym was invited to be the key note speakers at Quilters Night out at Sew Expo in Puyallup. Kym and Ann combine patchwork, quilting, appliqu? and machine embroidery together with amazing results. The work done by them speaks for itself and is of an exceptional and original quality. They have appeared in many magazines both as contributors and had profiles done on them and their work They are constantly devising new methods and rulers for all aspects of sewing and will continue to do so. They have now invented several different rulers to save time and effort with patchwork and quilting as well as machine embroidery and appliqu? placement Kym and Ann have been ruler designers for Creative Grid USA and proud to be part of that family. Their first book, an Instruction Book on the use of The Sewing Revolution is about to go into a seventh reprint. Infinity Quilt has been very successful being sold worldwide and was reprinted in 2013. They are both passionate and enthusiastic about the craft and love to share the secrets to sewing learnt along the way.
