Join us in class, here's how

With new classes and events regularly being added to our store calendars, it is important that you know the process of properly registering. It is equally important that once you have signed up, you have reviewed the supply list for the class so that you can arrive fully prepared, enjoy yourself, and learn.

No matter which Meissner location you are attending class, the steps for registering on the website remain the same. Class registrations are only available on the website, but we can sign you up through the same process if you call or visit us in store.

To ensure that you complete your registration, we would like to remind you of the sign up process and show you all the steps to enrolling in classes and events.

Searching for Classes

Step 1:

Visit the Meissner Sewing and Vacuum Centers website at www.MeissnerSewing.com

Step 2:

Home Page2Click on the “Classes & Events” tab located at the top of the page.

This will direct you to another page where you will be presented with the option of clicking on the classes, events, calendars, instructors or the new machine owners class menu.

By clicking on the “Classes” option on this page, you will be directed to the full catalog of classes that we offer. From here, you have the option of filtering the classes by category, instructor and location.

Signing up for Classes

Step 1:

ClassList

Once you have selected the class that you are planning to attend, click on it in the list. This will direct you to the first page where you will enter information required for registration.

Note: If you click the "Add to Cart" option from this page, it will direct you to another page where you will begin your registration, but this will not automatically add the class to your cart. You must complete Step Two (listed below) first.

Step 2:

Required Fileds

Fill out the information on this page by selecting the drop down option and clicking on the date and time you desire.

If there is a supply list for the class, then you will be prompted with the question: “Did you download the supply list?” This is a required field.

See below to learn how to access the class supply list.

You will then be asked to type in the BRAND of machine that you own and the MODEL of machine that you own.

The next required field is labeled “Please list Registrants’ Names and Any Other Comments.” If you are bringing a guest or are registering multiple people, then this is the place to enter any additional registrants' names and contact information. For events where we provide lunch, this box is the field where we ask you to enter any dietary restrictions and additional comments.

Once all the required sections on this page have been fully filled out, click "Add to Cart" at the bottom of the form.

SuccessfulCartYou will know that the class was added to your cart by scrolling to the top of the page.

From here, you can determine whether the class was successfully added to you cart by checking two separate places. First, a green bar will appear above the class name, and second, your cart will display the quantity of items that it is holding.

Your registration is not complete yet.

Step 3:

You must then click on the "Cart" button above the search bar at the top of the page to complete your registration.

By clicking on your "Cart," you will be directed to the first page where you can double check that you are purchasing the correct class and quantity of seats.

If the items in your cart are correct, then click on the pink “Checkout” box at the bottom to continue.

Step 4:

After clicking on "Checkout", you will be directed to a page where you can create an account or log in to your account (if you have previously created one).

Follow the prompts to log in, to enter your billing and payment information, and to review your order before finalizing your registration. Then, just place your order to complete your class sign up.

You will receive an email confirmation.

Once you have secured your seat in class, remember to review the supply list prior to your arrival in class so that you can purchase and bring any required materials with you.

Viewing and Downloading Your Supply List

If the class you have just registered for has a required list of supplies, then this information will be attached to the course on the class listing page. In order to review this list, you will need to download it from the website. Follow these steps to download the supply lists for each class you are registering for:

Complete steps 1 and 2 for Searching for Classes listed above in order to be directed to your specific class listing.

Step 2:

Supply list

Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will be able to choose from a selection of tabs.

Step 3:

ListPDF...

Click on the “Supply List” tab. By doing so, you will able to view a PDF file of the list.

Step 4:

Click on the PDF to download!

The list will open in another window, and you will be able to read, save and print the list.
