This class will give you step-by-step directions on the many ways you complete an edge-to-edge project with lots of tips and tidbits to help you get the job done quicker! Also covered--recovery methods for when something goes wrong. This class will give you what you need to gain Edge-to-Edge Statlerability! 2 hours
Statlerability: Borders & Sashes:
Borders add a powerful framework for your quilt! I will cover as much about borders as I can pack into two hours. I will teach a method for stitching borders that ALWAYS works, and you do NOT ever need to turn a quilt. Do you want Border Statlerability??? Custom quilting on a Statler makes a quilt special. It also makes you stand out as a quilter! This 3-hour class will prepare you to use the powerful tools provided in Creative Studio to create a quilting masterpiece. Lots of tips are shared to make sure your custom quilting is as efficient and effective as possible without compromising quality! Custom Statlerability is attainable! Sometime. Somewhere. When You Least Expect It:
One of these days, you will have a deadline—the quilt is on the frame—and you have a disaster! Maybe your tension is wrong or your thread is shredding. What will you do??? This class covers how to keep your Statler in tip-top condition and how to troubleshoot when things go wrong. It’s all about problem-solving! As a trainer and teacher, I have been troubleshooting for friends, students and customers for years. A comprehensive list of resources will be provided in the handout. Design Delight:
Do you struggle with the decision of what designs to use on a quilt? I will share the process of working with the customer to choose appropriate designs for e2e and custom quilting. Bonus: You may bring a quilt to class for us to look at and suggest designs. (I would ask that you send me pics of the quilt a week before class) This class isn’t Statler specific but it will be reflective of the perspective of a computerized quilter!
